Beautyterm dictionary ~ Facial Skincare

Hi,
First of all, I'm sooo sorry it's taken me so long to write a blogpost, but here it is!
Always when I am in a shop I see all these difficult terms for beauty products, so I thought I would make a little 'dictionary' wherein I explain these terms.

Moisturizer
A moisturizer is a product that hydrates and softens your skin.

Skin Exfoliator
This is a product that removes dead skin cells. This can be a facial scrub, but also a liquid exfoliant.

Cleanser
The name explains what it does (cleanses, duh) and cleansers can come in very different consistencies. Foaming cleansers are generally made for people with oily/blemished skin. cream/lotion cleansers are usually ment for dry/sensitive skin.

Toner
A toner is a facial product that cleanses your face and shrinks the appearance of pores.

These were all the terms that I could come up with at the moment, but I'm pretty sure I will write a few more blogposts related to this. Next week I will (try to) write a blogpost on body skincare.

I hope this was helpful and I will see you next time.

X Charlotte
